Public education is a big roll that fire departments try to participate in to keep our young minds aware and help keep them safe.
Saturday morning C shift crews were able to go and play with some kiddos from the Sunset 1st ward. The kids got to learn about recognizing emergencies, CPR, see the different parts of an ambulance, and play with all the cool tools on the fire truck!
They loved feeling like firefighters for a day and even got to help us spray the hose!
It’s important we help prepare our kids for these things, because you never know when they’ll need it.
Thanks for letting us come and hang out for the day 1st wards primary program!
