The Davis Landfill Voucher Program
In addition to the automated garbage collection service, Sunset City offers its residents the Davis Landfill Voucher Program. Residents may obtain a voucher from the City Offices one time per year per household. This program is strictly for yard cleanup. Once you load your green waste, go to the Davis Landfill and present them with your voucher, dump off your green waste and the City will pay your landfill charges.
Program Run Time……March 15th through October 15th
Residents may pick up their voucher at the City offices 200 W 1300 N.
Rules
- Vouchers are for residential use only! No businessess, owners of rental properties or commercial contractors are to use this service.
- Toxic, hazardous or flammable materials (pesticides, herbicides, solvents, chemicals, paints, motor oil, gasoline etc.) tires, batteries, televisions,refrigerators, freezers, computer monitors and computers may NOT be dumped in the landfill using the voucher. If you would like to dump items not included in green waste you can do so at your own cost. Information on disposal of household hazardous wastes may be obtained by calling Wasatch Intergrated Waste Management at 801-614-5650.
- The vouchers are used for green waste materials only. The program is designed for yard cleanup to beautify your residence.
